This move by the Holy Spirit to return His church to Jesus is moving at a tremendous pace. As our good friend Godfrey Birtill says, 'the empire is over'. But I suspect there are places where religion still clings on tenaciously not willing to be displaced. The world wide out pouring that is happening around us is not about getting people saved, but on bringing the new wineskin of the Bride to the body of Christ, others joining the parade is a lovely bye product. The church, and the world, has been impacted by the team at Bethel, Redding, California as God raises up another apostle to point the way, and demonstrate clearly what is on His heart. But it is not all about heaven coming to earth, though that is very important; in my view we are in a church era where God is restoring the commandment to love. For two thousand years the church has mainly focussed on religion and the tradition of men. In the protestant sphere of church this has produced a dysfunctional governmental model to believers, and encouraged works, above love. God is love, and everything He does is love based. His kingdom is not of this world but it is a love Kingdom of another realm. Look at most churches in the west and you will see the world, not the Kingdom, because love and the supernatural Kingdom is generally missing. God is not impressed by man's intellect, or his good ideas. God has a plan and design for us based on His perspective, Agape.
There are important things to do, but heart purity is ESSENTIAL.

Ministry of Reconciliation.
Some time ago the Lord took me to the verses in 2 Corinthians 5 where Paul shares the revelation of the ministry of reconciliation given to us from God. It is particularly illuminating to read these few verses from the Amplified Bible. Verse 19 is particularly powerful.
'It was God (personally present) in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favour with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them] , and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favour).
In the previous verse Paul states that God, in Christ, received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself. This is the heart of the gospel of Grace. This is where the religious guys get freaked out as they have no conception of the heart of the Father. This is a pivotal time in God's economy, these days are vitally important for the body of Christ and the world. I am convinced without a shadow of doubt that Abba wants the Bride to pick up this mantle of the Ministry of Reconciliation. It has been neglected but must now be valued once again. God spoke to me very strongly this morning about it and finished with this statement.
'I wouldn't blame anyone for rejecting religion son, would you? But rejecting My love and favour is another matter.'
We need to be reminded that Jesus is coming soon. Shalom.

Update
While on my way to fellowship with the Bridge Crew yesterday I had a call from E. the lady we had met the day before in town. She was very upset and as she lived in Wildmill Liz and I went over to find her home and see how we could help her. She was very agitated, and began really where she left off on the streets. We began to minister to her, and in between her tears and our prayers, we invited her to make Jesus her saviour, and to come and give her a brand new start. As we released the Holy Spirit upon her He was so gracious to presence Himself amongst us. I was at pains to tell her to give these burdens she was carrying to the Lord, and as the day progressed to try and call upon Him to take the load as it was too much for her to carry.
As we were leaving her daughter was coming in to take her to the Community Centre where we meet. It was obvious to us all that E. was too upset to come over, and we promised to call again next week.

What you don't see
I've been really blessed recently by the videos of healing on the streets that have been appearing on the web. I give God the glory for this but I would like to add my own experience in street ministry. Today as we were on the streets of Bridgend offering free healing prayers we were approached by E. a lady who wanted prayer but was embarrassed to think that anyone would be watching her ask. After making her feel welcome and allowing her to sit on the bench with us she began to share her physical, emotional, and social problems. Yes we prayed for her, but do you know the most important thing she was looking for? SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO HER. The ministry time went on for ages with us just encouraging her, Liz was able to hug and comfort her in her sadness, and I gave her a vision the Holy Spirit gave me for her that made her cry, allowing for more hugs. There was no instant miraculous deliverance, or healing that we could perceive, but one of God's precious ones came into contact with His grace, love , and acceptance today.

Abba, Father
While lesbians on TV today may be advocating a world without fathers it is revealed to us through scripture that the major issues in the human, and indeed the global spheres, all relate to the schism between humanity and God Himself. Jesus said, 'No one comes to the Father except through Me.' Paul told us that the earth itself is groaning until sons of God are revealed. Jesus told His disciples that if they had seen Him, they had seen the Father.
All human beings suffer from the severance from God through the sin of Adam, and Jesus came to not only reveal God as the perfect Father, but to introduce us to Him. On this mothering Sunday, fathers are indeed vital to our society, and especially those who have met the Perfect Father.
