Glory Invasion
In the centre of Bridgend on Monday God graced three rather cold disciples. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit the older one carried a sign initiated by Jesus Himself. After a bit of hanging around connection was made to the dear townspeople, even after a few rejections to the South African boldness of L our great woman mystic. Jesus started by healing a lady with a twisted nervous system in her upper spine? She was from a local Baptist church. Another lady came up and said 'I'm all yours', and we prayed for arthritic pain in her back, instantly the pain left. Another believing Mum asked us to pray for her son suffering from autism. We did, he has an amazing gift. Two other believing ladies asked for prayer and we invited the Holy Spirit to come, instantly He fell on the women in power. Ihad not experience that level of Glory in town before. While this was going on a young women who said she was a believer asked for prayer as her head was all over the place? She also had a broken finger, and I prayed for her and instantly the Holy Spirit was over her like a love blanket, she was freaked, but knew her mind had changed. While all this glory was manifesting a young student from our local evengelical bible college decided to interrupt proceedings. He didn't like the sign and began a discussion that was not helpful to the flow of grace so I decided to walk away. We had a Pharisee attack just like Jesus had. Keeps you humble?

The Bride is Being Made Ready.
Keep your ears and eyes open.
The Bride of Christ is the culmination of humanity. When Jesus cried out on the cross it is finished He was referring to the end of Adamic humanity. The new born again Christlike sons and daughters of God are pre-destined to become the Bride for Christ. John was given the revelation of the Bride on the Isle of Patmos, Paul had been given the revelation of the Church by Jesus some years earlier. Now we are at the pivital point of change. The Pauline revelation is making way for the revelation of the Bride. The curtain is rising on the pinnacle of God's love, He is preparing the Bride for His Son. Abba loves His Son so much that He has bestowed on Him all authority, power, and omnipotence. Abba is shaping, and moving, and cleansing, and purifying the Bride as a gift for His beloved Son. The church age has nearly finished, behold the Bridal era begins. This is a monumental time in the history of man, nothing like this as ever happened before, we are on the cusp of a wave of the Holy Spirit that will usher in the return of Jesus as King. Before this there must be a paradigm shift from church to Bride. The Bride is marked by two fundamental characteristics, INTIMACY, and HUMILITY. She is passionately in love with her Bridegroom to the extent of all other considerations. She doesn't have a reputation, and she doesn't fear death. Her supreme joy and bliss is to live face to face with Jesus and adore His beauty constantly.

Keep Listening
It was good to hear one of the keynote speakers at the Heaven2Earth conference in Cardiff yesterday speak a prophetic word to the delegates. Part of it was taken from this line of the Nicene Creed 'We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church,' he proceeded to take us to John ch. 17. Describing the relational unity in the Godhead and the truth that Jesus asked the Father to replicate this unity in the church, he believed that the Holy Spirit was now working to produce true relational unity in the church, what the word catholic implies; so that the world would know that the Father sent Jesus. This relational unity within the church has not been visible for some time here in the UK but as God answers prayers, and especially the prayers of His Son, we should look for the green shoots of relational unity to appear. I guess the Holy Spirit has been working on this prayer of Jesus for 2,000 years, but many of us have been meditating in John 17 for a little while now. What does this mean for Congregational leaders, and individual believers? I don't fully know but I'm encouraged by confirmation. It's always good to get confirmation from leaders to what the Spirit is telling you.

Mashed
I'm really mashed today spending time in the revelation of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told the bewildered disciples, who faced His crucifixion and imminent departure, that He would not leave them as orphans. He said He would ask Daddy to send them another COMFORTER, who would be with them forever. The Holy Spirit is exactly the same as Jesus, He is our comforter. Check it out in John 14.

God's Workmanship
In the Genesis account everything God made was good. Paul in his letter to the Ephesisns tells us that we are God's workmanship created to walk in the good life with Him. We are created by God for God to walk with Him and enjoy unbroken relationship in His presence. John tells us that God is love, unconditional, perfect, supreme love. God loves us because He is love. So we are created by love for love; love with Him and love with our neighbours. Jesus gave the disciples one more commandment, they were to love each other as He had loved them. Out of love flows the good life we are to walk in.

Heart Issues
As a man thinks in his heart so is he. A famous verse from Proverbs. Above all else guard your heart for it is the well spring of life, that's another. The heart is a very important subject not only in scripture, but in our relationship with Abba. The good news is that God was so hungry for a relationship with you that He gave Himself in the presence of Jesus to die on the tree to redeem you back into His family. God the Father wants a relationship with you and me, but if there is damage in our hearts we miss it. If I have no concept of love how can I believe God loves me. If I cannot love how can I love God and my neighbour and myself? Its a paradox, but love is the answer. Agape, the God kind of love is the answer to all my questions, needs, and desires. But if I have strongholds of unbelief in my heart then the Holy Spirit has to minister truth to me in such a way as to overcome all the blockages. Yes it does take time. But the good news is He has done all that is required, and I have to get with the programme. He He
